Lidl has unveiled Ben Bracken, 19-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43% ABV) for only £39.99, just in time for Christmas.
The limited edition whisky, is another in the Ben Bracken range of whiskies that introduce you to the variety of whisky styles in Scotland. The price point of the Ben Bracken 19 yr old surely means that this limited edition will be a busy seller.
So what is it like? We had a sneaky taste of it and this is a good one. It’s not as medicinal as other Islay whiskies can be. This has a smoother and much more enjoyable mouthfeel.
This is one to savour at night, so get those twinkly lights out, draw the curtains and enjoy.
