Extra special Single Cask edition of King’s Inch Single Malt Whisky
To mark the first anniversary of King’s Inch’s launch, they released King’s Inch Sherry Edition. It has spent 7 years maturing in a single Oloroso Sherry Butt with only 586 bottles have been produced. The core bottling of King’s Inch is a marriage of Single Malts matured in both ex-Oloroso Sherry and Tennessee Bourbon casks.
What does King’s Inch Single Malt Sherry Edition taste like?
Just as you would expect from a sherry edition, it smells of Christmas! A cliche perhaps, but it does. Not as strong as it could be, but that works – you get the whisky with a hint of sherry and not overpowered by the sherry cask. It has the sweetness of sherry with warm wintery spice notes.
The Single Cask expression retails at £75 and is available to purchase from selected retailers across the UK, and from the King’s Inch website ( www.kingsinch.com )
