American style eaterie in the east-end
Located in my old local kebab shop(!) at the Duke Street Railway Station end of the street.
The cinema style signage gives the place a low key feel and perhaps it doesn’t feel quite like Dennistoun anymore. Inside are old school tables and chairs, some DIY board and a view straight into the kitchen.

The food…
Jack Cheese, classic cheeseburger £4
Charcoal-tinged burger, good size with fresh salad. Served with seasoned fries, which were well-seasoned (perhaps a bit too much) to pack a tingly punch.
Smoke Stack £5
Cheeseburger with spicy onions and BBQ sauce.
We ordered sides of mac and cheese and BBQ Beans. £2 if purchased separately.
The mac and cheese came with sprigs of rosemary which we have never thought of before. Worked well adding a kind of camp fire, rustic feel,to the mac n cheese.
The BBQ beans were sweet, lots of molasses in there. These went well with the spicy fries.
The place was clean, toilets spotless and a good size, staff friendly and hot food!!
