Dishpatch – restaurant meals at home

London restaurants direct to your kitchen

Dishpatch is one of the success stories of lockdown. They created a way for restauranteurs to sell their dishes direct to their customers with only the dishes needing to be finished off at home. The restaurants are London based and can be delivered nationwide. So if you have a hankering for 12-hour braised short rib from The Coach by Tom Kerridge, or springtime mezze from Ottolenghi here is where to find it.

We received a code from a friend (we have a code to share below) who was very impressed with the standard of food on offer, so we thought we would give it a go.

We picked the Signature Curry Laksa for our first dip into Dishpatch. Inside the well-packaged box was everything labelled and packaged ready for cooking, alongside the instructions. This curry had tofu, prawn and chicken, there is a vegan option available on the menu as well.

The instructions were easy to follow and we soon had a full meal and a side drink of rose milk (milk not supplied).

The laksa was spicy, thank goodness for the rose milk to cut through it. The creamy coconut and shrimp-based broth were delicious. As you can see the portions were good, a filling meal.

We both loved this Malaysian meal at home. We will have to visit Sambal Shiok to try it in its home setting.

We also tried the Roti King Express Roti Kit, This was roti canai served alongside a Roti King fish curry. More delicious Malaysian flavours here. Again simple instructions and everything packed and ready to go.
