What we ate and drank

Long black, iced matcha latte and orange juice to start.  Excellent quality orange juice and the coffee got a thumbs up from Mark. My iced matcha could have more of a matcha taste for me, I do like a stong matcha.

Pancake stack with scramble and bacon served with maple syrup. The mother doesn’t often finish a full plate of food.  This one was about 85% munched before she had to call it quits. Two large fluffy pancakes with creamy scrambled egg and streaky bacon. Topped off with maple syrup for drizzling.

HWB Burrito Wrap – BBQ spicy beans, scramble, avocado, spinach, burrito sauce and pomegranate.

A large, well-filled and colourful breakfast.  Filled with fluffy eggs and lots of Tex Mex flavours.

Bacon and scramble brioche bun – bacon, scramble, cheese slice and chives. A light brioche bun filled with creamy eggs, topped with bacon, cheese and chives.  We all agreed the scrambled eggs here are excellent, the best we have had outside of home!

Verdict

Probably the quietest we have all been whilst eating for a while.  Full bellies, so much so that we didn’t even have space for any of their delish-looking cakes.

Friendly service and clean toilet.
