Skye icons join for pop up dining experience
This spring sees two Isle of Skye icons collaborate to launch a new pop-up dining experience. The Three Chimneys and Talisker Distillery are coming together to create ‘The Three Chimneys at Talisker’ experience.
A standalone waterfront venue opposite the Talisker visitor centre at Loch Harport will be home to the pop-up restaurant for lunch only, from February to April.
Guests can experience ‘The Journey’ – a tasting menu inspired by Uisge Beatha (Water of Life) or a lighter, seasonally influenced fare that showcases the abundant richness of Skye’s larder.
Inspiration for the new menus from Chef Scott Davies was taken from Talisker Distillery’s unique location on the Minginish peninsula and the air that is filled with the salt and spray of the sea. Dishes will complement the maritime character of Talisker with its notes of smoke, spice, peat, salt and pepper.
The masterminds behind the project:
Krzysztof Dudkowski – The Three Chimneys General Manager
Scott Davies -The Three Chimneys Head Chef
Louise Ellis (middle) – Talisker Events and Experiences Assistant Manager
Sarah Campbell (left) – Talisker Assistant Compliance Manager
