We fancied a mixed platter ( House Platter for One £3.79
A feast for one; Korean spiced chicken wings, ham croquettes, Boroughbridge sausage, garlic & herb churros and olives. Served with pots of soured cream and BBQ sauce for dipping.) but none available so we ended up ordering sides of garlic bread £1.59 and onion rings £1.79.

Both were pretty good for a pub. Crispy and not greasy.

The Ultimate Codfather £8.49
Hand-battered cod fillet and wholetail breaded scampi, served with chips, peas or mushy peas, pickled onions, curry and tartare sauce, two slices of bread & butter and a lemon wedge.

passable chips and scampi, the fish was overcooked on the outside and undercooked /soggy on the inside.  Tartare and curry sauce both were generic.

The Ultimate Big Dog £8.49
A super-sized Boroughbridge sausage topped with fried onions, ketchup and American-style mustard, served with coleslaw and a double portion of chips.

The sausage was a proper sausage, none of this plasticky tasting frankfurter type.  Double portion of chips as a little overboard.  Would go for this again.

Overall usual bland pub grub with a wee surprise with the hot dog.

Some history of the building from Old Glasgow Pubs site.
