We bagged some cheap flights from Prestwick to Carcassonne and also managed to find these bargain apartments to stay at. Located within the shadow of the Cité de Carcassonne, Adonis apart-hotel provides a good base to explore both sides of Carcassonne – the Cité and ville basse (lower city).
An easy to find reception area, just don’t try and check in between 12 and 3 as the reception is closed!, with friendly and helpful staff. In this area there are books for borrowing, bikes for hire, information leaflets, seating, a coffee machine and a vending machine.
The accommodation surrounds a central garden which has a sun lounger area as well as tables and chairs for relaxing in.
