Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, 145 Fleet Street, London – April 2011

Hidden away down a side alley within the city this little gem of a pub should be a must stop on everyones london visit.  Located in an area of the city renowned for glass, steel and expense this wooden panelled, low ceilinged pub is a surprise and by stocking Samuel Smith’s drinks the prices are a surprise too.  We purchased a 1/2 each of Alpine Lager and Pure brewed lager for the price of £2.85, the Alpine especially went down a treat – crisp and light.
