Ventured north to Spiers Wharf at lunch time today to Cafe Ocho.

- Selection of Sandwiches

Scones were fruity, pastries were very danish like and the tea was good too. Excellent service in what appears to be the hub of the community. Mix of afternoon tea-ers, work lunches and people nipping in for a sandwich.
One to remember for when in the area.
bought a living social voucher for afternoon tea with a glass of cava, went today 21/10/11, with my mother was greated, by a lovely friendly woman named eleanor, who took care of us with excllent service throughout, the food was amazing , sandwhiches so soft, the scones, and cake (all home baked were fantastic), eleanor also made sure my vegetarian needs were catered to, great place to go i will return,mum loves it, see you soon eleanor.:)
Bought this as a treat for my mother. Expected table cloths, china and home baking. Got dry Mr Kipling slices and not even offered a refill pot of tea. After eating sandwiches my mother and I were both ill. Phoned to complain but got no response. Extremely disappointed…..
