Recipe: Easy Christmas Chocolate Pine Cones

QUICK + EASY SNOWY CHOCOLATE PINECONES RECIPE

These Christmas treats are sure to get the kids excited over the festive season.   Simple to make and no baking required as well.  Just mix and make.  Using Nutella, peanut butter and icing sugar, these don’t pretend to be healthy.  We used Golden Grahams in this recipe, you could also use bran flakes or coco pops for the same look.  Whatever is the favourite breakfast cereal of the moment.

2 tbsp Nutella

2 tbsp peanut butter

4 tbsp icing sugar, plus extra for dusting

1 packet of Golden Grahams

 

Method

Add to a  bowl, mix the Nutella, peanut butter and icing sugar until fully mixed.

Divide the mixture into 4.

Mould each piece into the shape of a pine cone.

Stick the Golden Grahams into the pine cone.

Chill until firm (probably an hour at least)

Dust with icing sugar.

Mix the peanut butter, Nutella and icing sugar together.  This is a hands-on task.
