Nespresso opens new store in Glasgow
Nespresso has opened a proper shop in Glasgow on Buchanan Street after the success of the stall within Buchanan Galleries. Â Located at 60 Buchanan Street, where the Russell & Bromley shoe shop was, right in the middle of shopping heaven.
Mrs Foodie went along for a nosey and to try out the coffee from the new Vertuo machine.
The Shop
As expected the shop is swish. Â Designed perfectly with everything looking perfect in its place. Â Here you can buy capsules, machines, cups everything you would need for making Nespresso at home.
Try out some coffee at their barista bar.
The Coffee
I got to try the Nicaragua and India capsules as straight espresso. Â The Nicaragua is a sweet and light coffee, no need for milk here. Â If you like a more intense coffee, try the India.
The new Vertuo machine has a different capsule system. Â The coffees produced by the new capsules having a significantly large crema, so much so that the coffee looks a bit like Guinness!
The capsule display for the Vertuo machine also looks like a spaceship control panel. 🙂
