The Crocodile and the frog
The Crocodile and The Frog, no it’s not some fairy tale but a couple of painted rocks on the outskirts of St Fillans in Perthshire. The St Fillans Monster, also known as a crocodile, is a short walk outside of the village. it has been here as long as Mrs Foodie remembers. Legend has it that it was painted by local teenagers and the tradition has been carried on.
St Fillans Rock
Driving into St Fillans from the East you will easily see the frog at the side of the road, nestling within bushes. Keep driving and on the right-hand side, you will see space for a single car. Look out for the speed limit slash signs.
