Scotty Brand Strawberries

Part of the Bartlett family, Scotty Brand has a wide range of products such as carrots, tomatoes and strawberries.  The Bruce family have been farming since 1898, and it shows.

We saw the strawberries on special offer and they looked plump so gave them a go – I am really glad we did.

The weekend before we had bought some Blairgowrie strawberries and Raspberries, they were just as remembered as a kid picking them.  Delicious.  So when we got back home and saw these delightful looking strawberries we had to have a punnet (or two!).

As you can see the colour of these are stunning, the taste is not too watery, not too dry, perfect old fashioned strawberries.  We did mean to get some ice cream from our local (Newlands Cafe) but we demolished the lot!

Great value at 2 for £3 at the moment in Morrisons too, think we will be heading off for more.
