About Emma & Mark

We are Mark and Emma who have been blogging since 2007!

We started as Food and Drink Glasgow, writing about food and drink in Glasgow as that is where we live.  The blog grew and started to cover areas out with Glasgow and even Scotland so we changed our name to Foodie Explorers to reflect this.  We still have a blog just for Glasgow at GlasgowFoodie.co.uk.

Today, Foodie Explorers covers everything from where to stay, what to eat and what to see when you are there.  There’s a lot more to it than food, although we do love a good behind the scenes story. 

We are consistently in Foodies Top 100 Food Blogs and won the Most Dedicated Blogger Award at The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards 2018

This isn’t all, we have written for The List, Groupon, Metro and are the Food and Travel Editors for print and digital magazine SNACK.
