Emma We bagged some cheap flights from Prestwick to Carcassonne and also managed to find these bargain apartments to stay at. Located within the shadow of the Cité de Carcassonne, Adonis apart-hotel provides a good base to explore both sides of Carcassonne – the Cité and ville basse (lower city).
An easy to find reception area, just don’t try and check in between 12 and 3 as the reception is closed!, with friendly and helpful staff. In this area there are books for borrowing, bikes for hire, information leaflets, seating, a coffee machine and a vending machine.
The accommodation surrounds a central garden which has a sun lounger area as well as tables and chairs for relaxing in.
