Event: Bakery47 pop-up dining in Glasgow and Vanilla Black pop-up in Dundee

For one night only…

On Monday 24th October southside favourites Bakery47 will be hosting a pop-up dining night with Rory Lovie, award-winning head chef at Bridgeview Station in Dundee, doing the cooking.

The appetising menu looks like this:

Cairnie Farm Pumpkin Veloute, Chanterelles, Chilli

Bakery47 Sourdough, Whipped North St Dairy Butter, Leek Ash

Andy Duncan’s Raw Scallop, Slate Isles Dulse Powder, Dill Mayonnaise
Or
Celeriac “Tagliatelle”, Strathearn Cheese, Celery Leaf

Angus Pheasant Breast, Falconers Haggis, Pittormie Turnip Tops, Famous Grouse Sauce
Or
Braised Then Roasted White Cabbage, Borlotti Bean Stuffing, Horseradish

Strathdon Blue Cheese Mousse, Walnut Biscuit, Grewar’s Beetroot

MoR Ticia Ice Cream, Elderberry Vinegar, Chocolate and Rye Crumble

The dinner starts at 7pm, finishing at roughly 10pm and is priced at £45 per person (BYOB no corkage). Get tickets from Brown Paper Tickets here.

And for anyone in the Dundee area on Thursday 10th November, Rory will be teaming up with chefs from Vanilla Black, the Michelin-listed (page 63 of the 2017 guide) vegetarian restaurant in central London, for a night of contemporary veggie cuisine at Bridgeview station.
