Emma Scottish brewery Belhaven has three new additions to its trophy cabinet this week after the results of the world-renowned Monde Selection 2023 were announced. The brewer scooped three medals at these prestigious global quality awards: two Golds for Belhaven Scottish Oat Stout and Belhaven Wee Heavy, plus a Silver for Belhaven Scottish Ale.
Belhaven Oat Stout was named the World Beer Awards overall ‘World’s Best Oat Stout’ last year, as well as winning a Gold in the Monde Selection 2022.
The Belhaven team has further cause to celebrate this week with news that the Brewery’s Visitor Experience has been given 4-Star Quality Assurance status by VisitScotland – reflecting an excellent customer experience in the eyes of their expert tourism assessors.
Having only opened its doors in 2021, this is a huge win for the brewery team, who have worked hard to bring the story of their historic ‘home of Scottish brewing’ on East Lothian’s golden coastline to life in a personal, engaging and entertaining way.
