Beer, one with raspberry syrup and one with ginger syrup – quite refreshing.

Highlander Potato Cakes with Garlic Butter – gorgeous!

Devils on horseback – lovely crispy bacon and plump fruit.

Black pudding, sauerkraut and potatoes.   – lovely black pudding very like stornaway black pudding in that it wasn’t very fatty and full of flavour.

Savoury Pancakes – didnt look much but they were very filling.  Fluffy pancake with spinach and cheese.

“stomach” vodka – Wódka Żołądkowa Gorzka

Quite nice, much more pleasant to drink than the average local moonshine.  Waitress recommended having it with sprite.

In total 3 beers, 1 stomach vodka and food came to 82 złoty roughly £16

Service was a bit slow (ach it’s still the eastern europe way)  but was very friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious.

  1. This is a lovely little place with a mountain lodge feel. I have eaten here on several occassions during visits to Poland, and have always been very satisfied. They do a special lunch time menu which includes soup and main meal for less than a fiver.
Good to go there when it is quiet as service is sometimes slow when the place is very busy, however the beer is so cheap,so if you dont mind waiting for your meal whilst drinking
