Add food and go

A new app launches today called Check and Cook. it’s a food app developed by  French student, Pierre-Louis Sauvaige.  Pierre asked Food and Drink Glasgow to have a look at the app and provide feedback.

About

The idea came out when Pierre wanted to cook something different from pasta or rice. He opened his fridge and never found what to cook. At this moment “Check and Cook” was born.

Technology

It took 3 years for the algorithm to be fully efficient. Users just have to fill up the app with the ingredients that they have in their pantry, then the app shows us among more than 41 000 recipes which one they can cook without buying anything more.
