Shoreditch Grind stands out from other coffee shops, not least due to its circular build and edge of a roundabout location. It’s an espresso bar, cocktail bar and has recording studios upstairs – what a combination!
As expected inside is hipster central decor wise, however it was laidback and not at all posery. Â The coffee, cakes and food did the talking.
House blend coffee, which you can buy here, was perfect. Â You could also tell the baristas have skill. Â Lovely clean coffee taste, no bitterness from badly cleaned machines and beans that have been sitting too long.
You can also buy beer, sandwiches and salads.

I can’t even remember what I had in this place – I suspect it was an after-hours cocktail – but I remember loving the atmosphere. Another one for the list next time I’m down London way!
Let us know what its like at night time, if you remember 😉
