In operation since 1966, this Glasgow institution will soon be gone to make way for a bank of all things!
After a day of wandering about, we needed good, reliable comfort food. We knew just the joint.
I’ve been a fan of Dino’s for many a year, even having my wedding dinner in there ( dinner lasted linger than the marriage!). If you are looking for a coffee, a full slap up meal or just a quick lunch – this is (was) the place to go.
The best tiling ever, glad to see these are still there.
Pizza Napolitana 10″ £9.50
With Anchovies, capers and olives.
A mix of crispy and doughy base with lots of toppings. The anchovies were so salty it hurt. Brill.
Tagliatelle Dino’s £11.30
Pasta with sliced chicken breast , Parma ham, white wine, petit pois, cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil and cream.
It went very quiet at the other end if the table, I nabbed a forkful and found out why – creamy, garlic with lots of flavour. Perfectly cooked pasta.
It will be sad to see this gem go.
