Whisky distilling returns to the Scottish Borders
It’s been 180 years since a whisky distillery was established in the Scottish Borders and next month will see The Three Stills Company open.
The distillery has been years in the planning and will be open to the public on 1st May.
Located in Hawick, The Three Stills Company are creating 20 jobs with this £10m project.
As the process to become a Scotch Whisky takes 3 years, the distillery will be producing gin, as well as having a visitor centre to keep everyone occupied whilst waiting for the whisky!
