El Cellar de Can Roca to launch its first overseas location in Scotland

Since opening in Girona in 1986, El Celler de Can Roca has been ranked the best restaurant in the world 2013 and 2015, and was ranked second in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2018!

The restaurant, operated by the three Roca brothers: Joan, the chef, Josep, the sommelier, and Jordi, the pastry chef, has held three Michelin stars since 2009.

The Macallan, to celebrate their 200th anniversary has collaborated with El Celler de Can Roca to launch a new permanent dining experience, TimeSpirit, at the heart of The Macallan Estate in Speyside.

TimeSpirit will offer diners a nine-course tasting menu, “a culinary exploration of The Macallan as the brand celebrates 200 years young”.

TimeSpirit will hold 30 covers in a dining room designed by David Thulstrup, who also designed Noma restaurant in Copenhagen.

Tables are available from 31st October,

The lunch tasting menu is £60 per person. The dinner tasting menu is £95 per person.

TimeSpirit is open from Thursday to Saturday between 12:00-14:00 or 19:00-21:00, and on Sunday between 12:00-14:00.
