Emma Lush invites Shrek fans to ‘Book A Swamp’ bathtub at Edinburgh spa
Lush has been a long favourite in this house, so whilst visiting Edinburgh recently I couldn’t stop myself nipping in and buying a massage bar (Karma is a fave). Whilst in, I noticed they had a special Lush x Shrek bathtub experience.
We recently changed our bathroom to a walk-in shower, which is a lot easier to use, however, I do miss a good soak and relaxation in a bath. So what better way to enjoy a bath than to luxuriate in your very own swamp with Shrek-inspired goodies from Lush.

So what is the Lush x Shrek bathtub experience like?
I started by meeting Karen who discussed my skin care routine, or should I say lack of skin care routine! I’m one of those grab a moisturiser when I remember it type of gal. We sniffed and discussed what I was looking for and what Lush could provide to pamper me in my swamp.
My swamp expert Karen prepared the room for me whilst I visted the ladies room to enable a full relaxing experience. Shrek swamp bath bomb activated and ear wax candle lit, my bathtub spa experience was ready.
As well as the bath bomb, I received a cleanser, mask of magnaminty, green cucumber eye pads and a onion carriage soap. I stepped into the perfect temperature bath, sorry swamp, pampered my skin and relaxed.
30 minutes of bliss surrounded by the music of the Shrek film, it was sadly time to get outta that swamp. I donned the robe and slippers provided and slathered on the moisturiser supplied by Karen. I dressed and wandered out to the main spa area for a pot of tea, biscuit, water and more chill time. There was no rush here.
Verdict
This isn’t just a bath and the price reflects it. Not cheap, however…it was a treat that was indulgent and relaxing. No internet, no cats barging in, no noise, just me and Shrek.
