Fizz Feast – Champagne, Cava and more

Fizz Feast returns to Edinburgh on Saturday 17th November. We went along last year and spent a most pleasant afternoon quaffing Champagne and sparkling wine as well as tasting chocolates and smoked trout.

The main hall at Edinburgh Academy is a stunning location, suitable for wandering around with a champagne flute trying out the different wines on offer. What better way to start thinking about Christmas.

We ended up picking a couple of wines we would never have thought of, such as a sparking red for Christmas Day.

There are lots of stalls here to try wines and get advice from sellers. As well as the wine,  there is a room filled with food producers for samples and purchases. We became firm fans of Tobermoray smoked trout after trying some last year.  A relaxing afternoon with friends or your partner.
