Felson’s cocktail lounge and stick bar opens in Glasgow
Mr Foodie and Mr C went along to check out the new opening, Felson’s in Glasgow city centre. Braving the wind and rain he sought refuge with pool, nachos and some interesting drinks.
Inspired by eight-ball stick hero, Fast Eddie Felson, Glasgow’s newest venue, Felson’s has opened its doors. Felson’s is located inside its sister venue, the student-friendly Aussie Bar, Walkabout, on Renfield Street.
It’s been years since any of us played pool but there are tables galore here so no excuse not to play!
There’s more up the back too, on the raised platform. But it’s not just pool as there’s also a…
…a shuffleboard too! Does anyone else remember Shufflepuck café for the Commodore 64?
Cocktail drinks
Drinks to try include Salted Caramel Flip, a creamy concoction of Gosling’s Seal Dark Rum, Licor 43 and caramel, to a range of craft beers, or you could simply have a Corona-Rita, a margarita cocktail, which is a bit like a never-ending drink as it seems to keep topping up with more Corona the more you drink!
Menus
Complemented by a brand-new food menu which offers everything from The Double down Southern Fried Chicken Burger, hot wings with a variety of toppings from BBQ to HOT! or try the loaded fries.
If there’s a group of you and you have the cash then how about 100 chicken wings for £39.95!?
If you don’t have £40 spare then don’t worry as you can also order in quantities of 10, 20, 40, 60 and 80.
For budget conscious visitors there is 50% off selected drinks every Monday from 4pm until close and half price pool every Wednesday.
