Foodhub takeaway app with 20% money off code inside

New food delivery app with a cheeky offer

New takeaway ordering app Foodhub have a cheeky proposition. Ditch Just Eat for their alternative food ordering app instead. Why? Well, unlike Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and the like, Foodhub doesn’t take a commission so your Food is on average 15% cheaper than ordering from any of the others so it’s better for you and the takeaways. Foodhub say that as a result their customers are saving a combined average of £45,000 per week!

We have used FoodHub on a few occasions now and can confirm that it’s easy to order. We have iPhones so downloaded the app from the App Store and were ordering within minutes in 4 easy steps: Locate, Select, Pay and Relish!

When we first ordered from the app a few weeks there were 30 takeaways to choose from in our area and this has now increased to 33, which is plenty though not quite as good as Just Eat yet but give it time once more takeaways switch to Foodhub. The selection includes Indian, Chinese, pizza, burgers, and even desserts.

You can filter search results by distance, rating, alphabetical order, those offering discounts and you can even randomise the order to guarantee something new.

Once ordered you can view the status and wait time from the main screen. You can then save takeaways to a favourites list and re-order past orders easily from your order history.

We’ve used the service 4 times now, prices are better than other apps and our maximum wait time has been around 40 minutes.

If you would like to try out FoodHub yourself please use code FOOD25300 when ordering for £3 off a minimum order spend of £10. This is only valid for new users on your first order and is available until Monday 31 August.

All new customers in Scotland are entitled to 20% off by using code SL1020.

Disclaimer: we received money off 2 takeaway orders from Foodhub but have subsequently used the service twice without discount so can verify that the service is a good one.
