Foodie Pen Pals – First Month

We met the delightful Rock Salt at a bloggers event and after a good snoop around her blog decided we’d love to join in the foodie pen pals fun too.

Trying to stick within the £10 limit as well as thinking about postage costs was the main concerns.  Too many good things I wanted to share.

My little parcel went on it’s way and I was really happy (how exciting is a parcel with no idea what the contents are?!) to get mine.

Defo a box of delights. A handy little postcards of cheese (we heart cheese) explained that the inclusions were to make up for the lack of cheese in the box, some accessories for cheese.

Some red chilli crackers – definitely one to give some oomph to cheddar methinks.  Onion Pickle and in a dinky little jar that will come in handy afterwards, far too good to throw away when empty (which it will be soon yum).  The strangest popcorn I’ve ever seen – French goats cheese and Malabar Black Pepper – still too scared to open it 🙂 and a jar of Saffron Waldon honey (another fave of mine honey).

Just have to settle down for a cheese and wine (or beer) fest some night and have a little party.

Thanks Lizzie!

  1. Awwww I’m not sure what I did to earn the adjective ‘delightful’ but I’ll accept it, with thanks!

This is a cool parcel, I like a strong theme (even though I’m no good at them). Look forward to hearing what the popcorn is like!
