Nipped in here with the gang to get a cuppa and something to eat to keep us all going.
Usual greasy spoon, pretty busy, toilets could do with a scrub and some disposible towels – one cloth towel for multiple folk when the water isnt hot isnt too good 🙁
Service was quick and the food was out sharp, so we were happy. Tea and roll n sausage all went down well. Took forever to pay the bill, not being locals I think, and then it was messed up with more expensive bills!
Don’t think I’d rush back.
Where is it:- Gaynor’s Cafe

Went to Gaynor’s Cafe yesterday, sat outside & had a lovely cup of coffee and homemade lentil & veg soup – all I needed in a hurry. Gaynor is very helpful and nice to chat with. She does almost everything herself. I enjoyed her visit, which was after visiting the babywear shop next door. The cafe seems to provides a safe & pleasant local space for mums, and wee ones in prams are welcome too, from what I could see. She also does a nice line in salads and cakes – so much better than the comment above suggests. I WILL be back . Thanks for your hospitality Gaynor !
