Get New Year ready with our cocktail tips

You’d think after two years of making cocktails in our jammies we’d be experts. Here are some tips to make sure that your homemade cocktails are the best you’ve ever had.

🍸

The Measure

Home measures are all well and good but can make a cocktail unbalanced. Ensure perfect cocktails for all tour guests every time with the use of a jigger. Each side measures a specific amount – 25ml and 50ml

The Shaker

You wouldn’t make a cake without a mixing bowl, would you? Make sure that all those beautiful ingredients are mixed properly before being served. Is there anything worse than a bland tasting first sip of a cocktail?

The Strainer

A strainer is essential for cocktail making, you don’t want lumps and picking out pips. A Hawthorne strainer is the name of the weird-looking contraption with a coil. It’s handy in that it will fit almost all glasses, so no need for an array of strainer sizes.
