we then headed to a new hotel for the night, over near the Olympiastadion which allowed for a wee trip to Spandau. We headed first to an old pub recommended in oru beer book, but sadly it was closed, perhaps for some time. 🙁

  1. We loved our visit to Berlin but did start to find the food a bit meat orientated. One night, having decided to pick something veggie, I used my limited German to order KartoffelSuppe. I was very pleased that potato soup actually arrived but in the middle of the plate the restaurant had thoughtfully added a big sausage!
