Lunch amidst history

On a recent trip to London, Colonel Mustard decided to pay a visit to one of his favourite museums, the Imperial War Museum.

After a busy morning looking at howitzers and Spitfires, some lunch was in order, so he decided to drop in at the Cafe located on the bottom floor of the museum.

The menu had a varied selection of dishes available, but as he was planning a large dinner later that evening, the Colonel decided to go for the soup of the day.

On this day in particular the soup was carrot and tomato, served with a small roll and butter.

The soup was warm and flavourful, not too filling, Ideal for a light lunch. The roll (which in this picture somehow looks like an onion) was small but the right size for a snack lunch.

Ideal for a light lunch in preparation for an afternoon continuing to look at medals and uniforms.
