Inside cocktail bar Devil of Brooklyn

A look inside new Glasgow city centre cocktail bar

From the team behind Tabac comes a new cocktail bar Devil of Brooklyn. We popped inside for a look around after the launch of The Gin Spa.

You’ll find Devil of Brooklyn at 42 Renfield Street, at the corner of Renfield Street and West George Street. Where Fratelli Sarti used to be. Not far from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street Stations.

Inside the decor reminded us of Hoxton/Old Street bars. It was a pleasure to see the old banking hall marble features showcased.

What we drank

We tried their Absinthe Old Fashioned – Le Fee Absinthe, St Germain and Orgeat and a Rye Thyme for Change – Peach infused rye, creme de peche. thyme syrup and lime. Then a couple of glasses of Feteasca Regala from Romania.

Verdict

We loved the decor, the drinks and the speakeasy vibe. I think we’ll have to visit again.
