Brand-new King’s Inch 8 Year Old  Bourbon & Sherry Cask vatting.

Courageous Spirits recently launched their first-ever age-statement whisky, King’s Inch 8 Year Old

We joined them for the launch and now have had some proper time to get to know this whisky.

King’s Inch 8 Year Old

This whisky adds to their award-winning non-age statement King’s Inch whisky.  The King’s Inch 8 Year Old, priced at £49 is carefully chosen from the best-quality mix of the Bourbon casks and Sherry butts, a small vatting of just 1,500 bottles.

So what does 8 year old King’s Inch Bourbon and Sherry Cask taste like?

Frankie making sure I give the King’s Inch 8 yr old a proper tasting.

The colour is a gorgeous gold. On the nose it is sweet and rich with an oaky background.   On the palette, there are notes of sweet fruits and spices with a warmth which lingers.

New home for Courageous Spirits

Also at the launch event was news of the new home for Courageous Spirits who will be fully based on 121 Lancefield Street, Glasgow.
