Soup and sandwich time in Alva
The weather was getting a little bit brighter…not much, but enough of no rain, wind or snow to get out the house and explore Alva a bit more. We didn’t get many photographs taken as it was still chilly out, ah well we’ll have to go into Little Owls then for something to eat.
Inside, it’s cosy, warm and welcoming. We settled down with a look at the menus.

What we ate and drank at Little Owls, Alva
It was a soup kinda day for the mother, thankfully a thick lentil soup was on the menu. It was toasty and tasty.
I picked a tuna mayo sandwich, choice of brown or white bread. Thickly filled with creamy mix of tuna and mayo.
Mark won this round, what an amazing club sandwich. Crispy, creamy slaw and tender chicken alongside some tasty bacon. Gutted he won this round.
A HUGE pot of tea and an americano as well. We were all too full to try some of the cakes…. next time!
