Loch Fyne Oysters and Fyne Ales have collaborated to produce a craft beer designed to pair perfectly with Scottish Smoked Salmon.

“This Gose” takes its influence from the Leipzig favourite: Gose, a sour beer style but Fyne have created a light and accessible variant.  Think more Prosecco rather than wild yeast lambic style.  Taste-wise it has a slight saltiness and light fizz, which we feel would make it ideal with pasta dishes as well as smoked salmon or even just some strawberries to sweeten that sour tang. Thinking ahead to colder weather,  we thought it ideal for alongside your Christmas morning smoked salmon.

It’s perfect for this brighter weather too, coming in at a sessionable 3.8% ABV.
