Given a lick of paint after its last incarnation as an Italian, Nachos is really what Glasgow is looking for. You’d think places with killer jalepenos would go down well in this city, but all we get are dinky portions and watery rice 🙁 Thankfully I think that this has changed Southside at least.
Located above Beanscene and Biscuit, the cosy but large restaurant has some imaginative wall art. Great lighting for a dreary Glasgow night, although Enrique Inglesias on repeat was….
There is a Tapas menu at bargain prices 4:30-9:30 Tuesday and Wednesday
We went for two cocktails to start, Mojito and a Margarita £7.90 for the pair, and then followed on with Soda and Lime (£2.90 for the pair),
Being greedy guts, we went for loads of tapas, in fact 16 plates in all! total bill £29.80 inc drinks. The tapas were out quickly, delicious and full of flavour not like another tapas bar Ive been into in the city centre 😉 The chorizo and mini chimichanga went down exceedingly well.
An excellent bargain, tasty food and friendly service. The only problem tonight, was the camera on my phone!
My favourite restaurant on the Southside, and luckily I only live around the corner! A must visit!
Thank you for your complimentary review. Really appreciate it. Hope to see you soon. 🙂 Dee
