Emma New Menu and look for beGIN Glasgow
Glasgow’s West End gin bar – beGIN – have unveiled a new menu and a refreshed look.
“Our dark décor was reminiscent of America’s prohibition era, when people had to imbibe in secrecy,” said Elaine Sheahan, beGIN bar manager.
“We decided to brighten up the bar because gin doesn’t need to be sipped in secret anymore and with its huge popularity, people actually want to be seen as they’re experiencing the latest gin before anyone else.”
Bright splashes of pink have brought new light to beGIN, from the large pink panels on the ceiling and the pink cushions on the sofas and booths to the fresh, colourful flowers decorating the tables in old gin bottles.
There are over 90 gins, which are categorised by taste profile (fruity, spiced, floral, weird & wonderful) to help both first time gin drinkers and long-time gin connoisseurs choose.
To accompany the updated gin menu, there is new food menu. The gin cured gravadlax salmon atop a HUGE Russian Blini was impressive.
