Fancy a sneak peek at the new summer menu at The Lioness of Leith?  Well here you go!  Liking the sound of the shell fish linguine and struggling to pick between the summer fruit pudding and the rose and lychee mousse.

Lioness Schnitzel

Back by popular demand! Tender, marinated pork in our spicy crumb with
fennel slaw and new potato salad.

Jacob’s Ladder

Sweet and sticky beef shortrib cooked in port with fried brioche, confit
vine tomatoes and corn on the cob.

(V) Feta Strudel

Greek cheese, sun blushed tomatoes and walnuts baked in filo pastry with
zesty cous cous and green stirfry

Shell fish linguine

Prawns, scallops and mussels adorn our fresh pasta tossed in saffron and
orange butter.

Roasted cod.

On crushed new potatoes with dill, in cider, mussel and chorizo broth.

Duck ‘n’ Chips

Barbary duck breast with citrus dressing, polenta chips and a warm salad
of black olives, tomatoes and spinach.

Sweet potato and gnocchi. (G) (V)

Mildly spice dumplings with watercress and spinach salad, spiced
beetroot salsa and Tsatziki.

Moules Classic.

Freshly steamed mussels in mariniere sauce

Moules Modern.

A zesty asian style broth with chilli and lemongrass.

Salad Section:

Treacle Cured Hot Smoked Salmon Salad.

Belhaven smokery’s unique, sweet smoked salmon with horseradish and
beetroot.

Sirloin Steak Salad.

Scottish sirloin with watercress and Heritage tomatoes, Dijon jellies
and pink onions.

Goat cheese and orange.

Inverloch goat’s cheese with homemade orange marmalade, shredded leaves
and brown bread croutons

Desserts:

Lioness home made ice cream sundaes.
