Inverness-based craft beer festival, North Hop, is getting set to play host to the world’s oldest brewery to coincide with Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink.
North Hop, which is now in its second year, is taking place in Inverness on 21 and 22 August 2015 at Eden Court, and will be welcoming Bavarian State Brewery, Weihenstephan, from Germany, which has been in operation for almost 1,000 years.
The two-day event, is set to boast over 20 different Scottish exhibitors celebrating craft beer, cider, artisan gins, creative cocktails, independent music and a selection of street food vendors.
Brewery and bar exhibitors include; BrewDog, Eden Mill Distillery & Brewery, Thistly Cross Cider, Six Degrees North, Loch Ness Cider, Loch Ness Brewery, Drygate Brewing Co, Windswept Brewing Co, Cromarty Brewing Co, Fyne Ales, Berry Good and 10 Dollar Shake as well as guest brewery Weihenstephan.
Food vendors including; Loch Ness Inn, Aye Love Real Food, Fresh Revolution, Poporopo and The Adelphi Kitchen and La Tortilla Asesina.
North Hop sessions will run from 6pm until 12 midnight on Friday, 21 August, and from 12 noon until 6pm and 7pm until 1am on Saturday, 22 August.
Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £15 + booking fee per session or £40 + booking fee for a weekend pass, which includes all sessions.
