This traditional London caff had a regular stream of customers for both sit in and takeaway.

What we ate and drank
Gammon steak, chips and peas £6, with a mug of tea.
Look at that portion! A thick slices of gammon which wasn’t too salty, served with a shed load of chips.
Mark picked the bubble, sausage, bacon, egg and beans £5. Another good portion of food. A lot of potato and not as much cabbage in the bubble. Bacon was a little salty, but this worked well with the bubble. A good cuppa.
Verdict
A perfect greasy spoon.
Friendly and quick service with a variety of dishes on offer. Prices are exceptional.
