Pork Kofta Recipe

Pork kofta kebab recipe

Easy Summer Food

The sun is shining and it’s time to get the BBQ out for some grillin. This is an easy to make recipe using mince and herbs. The longer the mince & herb mix is left to get to know each other the deeper the flavour, however, you can use the mix after a few minutes after mixing.

Pork kofta kebab recipe Ingredients

500g pork mince
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp oregano
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
pepper

Method

In a large bowl, combine minced pork, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper.

Mix well. I find using your hands is best as you can get stuck in.
Leave the mixture to rest for ten mins, or more if you can but don’t worry if you can’t.
Take a large handful of pork mixture and press it into a sausage shape. Or wrap around a skewer.
Continue until all of the mixture has been used.
Either cook on a BBQ or heat on a grill or frying pan.
These kebabs cook quickly, needing only a few minutes on each side
Serve with salad and dips.
