This is a vegan take on the popular ‘popcorn chicken’ dish and features “ crispy coated mini florets with spicy buffalo dip”
For £3 the portion looked small in the packet. Mini florets indeed. Maybe it will look better on a plate once cooked? A quick cook in the oven and the cauliflower popcorn was ready.
Not much there, the cauliflower dwarfed by the buffalo dip. Talking of the buffalo dip, we think the buffalo influence is still in Buffalo! The dip was more of a sweet chilli sauce instead of the oomph of a usual buffalo sauce.
The crispy mini florets were a bit soggy and the batter could’ve been crisper. The cauliflower popcorn was OK but we wouldn’t buy it again. Best making your own. (Korean style cauliflower recipe here)
