Raise the roof Perth Sculpture Trail

Celebrating the women of Perthshire

The city of Perth is a favourite of mine. It’s a compact city with just enough of a balance of city and countryside to keep you entertained but also relax. As part of the Visit Scotland Year of Stories, you can follow a sculpture trail, called raise the roof, around Perth to discover some inspiring Perthshire women.

Around the city you’ll find artists, engineers, and Olympic medalists, Perthshire women with stories to tell. The women were chosen by community groups who researched their chosen woman and then worked with artist Vanessa Lawrence to develop the sculptures.

Raise The Roof runs until September 2022.

A printed map is available at Visit Scotland Visitor Centre on Perth’s High Street and at various cafes, shops and visitor attractions throughout the area.
