Roberts and Reeves Prosecco – Extra Dry

prosecco r&r

This weeks SaturdaySip, if you follow us on Instagram, is R&R Extra Dry Prosecco. Available to buy online, in hampers, and we have spied it in Home Bargains as well!

Where is Prosecco from?

Prosecco is usually the choice when seeking a cheaper alternative to Champagne. Traditionally Prosecco is from Veneto in the North East of Italy. The name Prosecco comes from the region (and town) of Prosecco. Grapewise, Prosecco is made with Glera grapes.

What to serve with Prosecco

Prosecco can be happily served as an aperitif and goes well with cured meats and even desserts.

What did we think?

An easy to quaff Prosecco. It was lightly sparkling with a brioche aroma and a dry, crisp apple taste. A refreshing drink 🙂
