Scottish Aeropress Championships 2015

Dear Green Coffee Roasters are bringing the Aeropress Championships back to Scotland!

“Open to both amateur and professional coffee lovers, 20 competitors are welcomed to enter and flex their brewing skills on the cult coffee making device the Aerobie Aeropress for a chance to fly to SEATTLE to compete in the WORLD AEROPRESS CHAMPIONSHIP! Flights and accommodation have been generously arranged by the competition’ sponsors”

Each competitor will have 8 minutes to grind, brew and develop their perfect cup, using only the Aeropress.

Three industry expert judges, John Thomson of Coffee Nexus, Matt Slater of Falcon Speciality and James Shepard of World Coffee Events will then decide on the best balance of flavours from each Aeropressed coffee.

Following the SCAE UKBC Championships at the SECC earlier in the day spectators are encouraged to continue their coffee fuelled day at @SWG3, 100 Eastvale Place, Glasgow, G3 8QG.
