Founders Rob and Josie da Bank bring their talent for festival programming to create a season of wellbeing at venues across the South
Founders Rob and Josie da Bank are bringing their talent for festival programming to create a season of wellbeing at venues throughout the South of England.
Rooted in the principles of contrast therapy, Slomo’s collection of Nordic-inspired wood fired saunas, ice baths, cold plunges, Dutch hot tubs and fire pits can be found across London, Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight: including the highly-anticipated launch of the inaugural Slomo Wellbeing Festival at Camp Bestival, the first of its kind.
Alongside Slomo’s contrast therapy offering sits a curated programme of retreats and meditation courses. And at Slomo Wellbeing Festival, in particular, Josie and Robby will host a series of workshops covering breathwork, yoga, sound baths, dance and alternative therapies, all focussed on family wellbeing.
The 2025 Slomo line-up includes:
Slomo Christchurch – 21 March–13 July; Elkins Boatyard, Christchurch
A Slomo favourite, this haven of tranquillity sits between the Avon and Stour rivers, surrounded by water and nature. A loyal and welcoming community of sauna-goers can be found enjoying Slomo’s two saunas, ice bath, cold plunges and communal fire pit surrounded by comfy sofas. Don’t miss the Saturday Night Sweat sessions which include Slomo’s Shroom tea, snacks and optional Scandinavian whisking.
Slomo Wellbeing Festival at Camp Bestival: 31 July–3 August 2025; Lulworth Castle, Dorset
This festival-within-a-festival is the first of its kind offering Slomo’s unique contrast therapy offering alongside a programme of breathwork, meditation, yoga, sound baths, chillout DJs, cacao and dance mornings, mantra evening sessions, family shakeout sessions, cooking demos and numerous alternative therapies. Across the Dream Weavers Garden, The Yoga Shala, The Plant Kitchen, The Golden Stage and in the surrounding Bell Tents, practitioners including Jasmine Hemsley, Maude Hirst, Stuart Sandeman, and Goldierocks will be encouraging families to give the Slomo way of life a go. Meanwhile a Slomo Retreat experience encompassing gong baths, movement, holistic beauty therapies and a plant-based brunch is ideal for frazzled parents.
