Hello!

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.    

Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.

  1. Live Below the Line is a fantastic campaign that really connects you briefly to what it’s really like to go to bed hungry. I’ve just completed the challenge for a tiny charity called The Hunger Project who’re empowering smallholder women farmers in 15,000 to rise above the line and it’s been a real experience.
    Give it a go for The Hunger Project or one of the other fantastic charities involved. Oh and everyone forgets the rather innovative Come Dine Below the Line lite which you can take for World Hunger Day end of May. http://bit.ly/DineBelowtheLine
