Tea Cosy, Milngavie – Jan 2009

Waking up with a slight hangover we needed some tea and a little grease.  We had been recommended the Tea Cosy and thought we would give it a go.

Located in a side street with a small entrance, its not disabled friendly with stairs all the way up.  However it is worth it.  Olde worldy decor, friendly and quick service.Popular with the grannies of Milngavie (the scones were doing a roaring trade!)  We settled for a pot of tea each and one roll n tattie scone and a roll n scrambled egg.  Yummy – would recommend.  £2.90 for tea and hot roll, roll on it’s own was £1.90 and tea was £1.30
